Scripture
The 66 books of the Bible are the divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. As such, Scripture serves as the ultimate guide for faith and practice, providing the foundation for all aspects of life and education.
The Genesis account of origins presented is a straightforward and factual record of actual historical events. This narrative provides a trustworthy framework for understanding the origin and history of life, humanity, the Earth, and the universe.
As detailed in Genesis and affirmed throughout Scripture, God created all things by His direct, supernatural acts during six literal, 24-hour days. This includes the creation of distinct "kinds" of living organisms, each with the ability to reproduce within their own kind.
The Flood described in Genesis was a historical, year-long, global event that covered the entire earth, as an act of divine judgment against a sinful world. This cataclysmic event resulted in the destruction of all land-dwelling, air-breathing life not preserved on the Ark.The geological features observed today, such as extensive sedimentary layers and fossil records, are consistent with the effects of such a worldwide flood
Satan is a real, personal spiritual being who opposes both God and humanity.Originally created by God as a good and beautiful angel, Satan exercised his free will to rebel against his Creator, leading to his fall from grace.
God
There is only one true and living God. He is eternal, unchanging, uncreated, and self-existent.He has always existed and will always exist, without beginning or end.
God eternally exists as three distinct Persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully and equally God, sharing the same divine essence, yet they are distinct in personhood and role.
He alone is the Creator and Sustainer of all that exists. As the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible, He brought the universe into existence by His own will and power.
Jesus
Jesus Christ is eternal, existing before all creation and continuing forever.
Jesus Christ came to Earth, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus is fully man and fully God.
Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father, and shall return in person to this earth as Judge of the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit works in the hearts of sinners, leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, shaping their character and producing the fruit of the Spirit.
Mankind
God created Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, on the sixth literal 24-hour day of Creation. Their disobedience and fall into sin brought spiritual death and separation from God, establishing the universal need for salvation.
As a direct result of mankind’s sin, both physical and spiritual death entered the world, along with the reality of suffering and bloodshed.
All people are sinners by nature, inherited from Adam, and by their own individual choices, and are therefore under God’s just wrath and condemnation.
Freedom from the penalty and power of sin is available to all people solely through the sacrificial death and shed blood of Jesus Christ, and His bodily resurrection from the dead.
Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone, expressed through repentance, trusting in Christ’s death as full payment for sin, and accepting Him as Savior, Lord, and God.
Those who do not believe in Christ face everlasting conscious punishment, while believers receive eternal life with God.
All human life is sacred and begins at conception, which is defined as the moment of fertilization.
God created humanity as either male or female, each uniquely and unchangeably made in His image, and both possess equal dignity and worth as His image bearers.
Marriage is the sacred union of one man and one woman.
Christians are called to faithfully gather regularly in a local Bible-believing church, following the New Testament pattern.
